Please forgive my being brief, it's just been a very long day today.  I spent most of it working on a business plan, while it was incredibly valuable and we really are getting somewhere, it has sapped most of my energy.
The medium and long term are looking really good!  Additionally it was very special to recieve confirmation of another booking come through the post!

The thought I have to leave you with is this... Write it down, the whole process, whether it be using fingers on keyboard, or pen and paper just make the whole thing more real.  While I am yet to get my definitive list for 2009 written the process of creating that list is proving challenging as well as exciting.  Write down your plans for the year, for your wedding, for your married lives together.  The end of our DVD's mark the beginning of your married lives together.

I know that the next 48 hours can put quite a strain on those people who have wanted to make sure that they have lots of time to plan their wedding.  Why is that??  Well simply put the midnight hour on the 31st December changes everything, from "we are getting married next year" to.... we only have XX months to plan the rest of the wedding!!!

Please don't panic, the good news is that it is also the start to the Wedding fair season!  We have the privilage of attending around 7 wedding fairs this coming season - do drop us a line if you wish to know when and where we will be.  On top of that our approach to working with clients is that we can always point you at suppliers who can help.  Take a look at our venue's and suppliers page for more information on some of them.

May I wish you all, those getting married, those already married and those who never want to get married (although I am a little confused how you are reading this) a very happy new year - May 2009 be your best year yet.

That usually means we are at our busiest.

I think there are a combination of reasons, yes our brides want to get their final copies out to friends and family, after all they make a lovely personalised christmas present and having been able to choose the music and make any final changes to have the memory they want of the day.

Also we want to have a bit of time to ourselves, and having most if not all of the weddings from this year completed enables us to do that.

Also we are starting to think about all the new brides we will be meeting in 2009.  We have a number of wedding fairs which we are attending this year - I think it will be our busiest spring for fairs yet and I will keep you posted about when and where we will be - keep watching this space.

May we take this opportunity to wish all our clients old and new a very happy christmas.  We are immensely proud to be a part of your special days and as always wish you greater success in your ongoing marriages as well as hoping you have fabulous weddings
